Among the selected cases, Zigong Haitian Culture Co., Ltd. stood out with its “Global Lantern Festival Project: Service Applications and Outcomes”,which was included in the Service Consumption category. The project was the only case centered on Chinese lantern culture to be selected and the sole award-winning enterprise from Sichuan Province. Haitian Culture was recognized alongside leading companies such as Ant Group and JD.com, underscoring its strong performance in cultural service innovation, tourism-driven consumption, and international cultural exchange. The organizing committee noted that the project clearly demonstrates the role of traditional Chinese lantern craftsmanship in stimulating consumer spending and promoting cultural exports.

A notable example is the Gaeta Seaside Light and Music Art Festival in Italy, where Chinese lantern installations were introduced for the first time in 2024. According to official statistics, the festival attracted more than 50,000 visitors per week, with total attendance exceeding 500,000—doubling year-on-year and successfully reversing the post-pandemic decline in tourism. The project has been widely praised by local authorities, residents, and visitors, and is regarded as a vivid example of Chinese culture reaching global audiences through innovative service trade practices.
